SGM O11 project is designed to use a lot of aluminum parts in body motor compartment, side wall inner panel and body top, which is different from other project on process such as AL GEO weld, SPR stud riveting, FDS bolt auto screwing and AL laser weld. AL GEO welding is different from steel geo weld with strict technical requests on welding jig material, structure, its components, selection of aluminum welding equipments, and setting welding parameters to guarantee aluminum body welding quality. The aluminum GEO and Laser weld will be first applied on car body in Chinese auto industry welding production, which is a significant milestone in the field of domestic high-end car production and aluminum body welding, filling the gap of domestic aluminum-steel BIW production process and technology.
